      Seminar introduction：

      Total risk is identified by two aspects being the volatility caused by investor sentiment and substantial circumstantial risks which evolve around the asset class’s behavior which we call Market Risk and Systemic Risk which can also be related to the trading methods known as Beta trading and seeking Alpha and the duration (the Phi, Gamma, and Zetna affects) of the systemic affect. This seminar is to identify triggers, signals and behavioral trends before they occur on how the future market movements are correlated in time to affect and vice versa and explains the movement of 6 primary asset classes for more precision hedging with trending econometrics and reporting. Rather than utilizing the dependencies of traditional fundamental analysis this seminar explains meta-analysis with assets movements with econometric reporting with technical analysis.

      Speaker: Dr. Meiji Fong, Ph.D. Fin.; D.B.A. is a professors of finance courses in the Sun Yat-sen Business school and has been an investment advisor for several governments in the past. His experience includes 28 years of being an financial industry specialist of which 23 years has been as active hedge fund manager.

      Dr. Meiji Fong is an Ivy league graduate from his Masters and Doctorate programs graduating with Magna Cum Laude in the United States. He has served on multiple Government and Private Commissions and Societies; whereas his executive roles for investment, finance, economic policy and geo-political economics. His experiences also served in China as a China Peoples Political Consultative Conference committee member in economic policy; the Thai Government for Financing projects in Cambodia and Singapore; Planned and advised on the restructuring of Vietnam’s distress market and debt markets. Dr. Fong continues to service the financial markets specifically in the fund management industry a Director for the Market Intelligence division of Madison Hedge Fund, G.P., and an Executive Director of Madison Global Assets Management Co., Ltd.; and holds several directorships with other funds of alternative asset classes.
